About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and support clients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will develop tailored therapy plans that help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

You will work closely with families, carers, and other health professionals to provide holistic, client-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualised intervention plans based on each client’s goals and needs.
• Provide therapy in individual and group settings.
• Adapt therapy approaches to suit different ages, abilities, and clinical presentations.
• Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, and other health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, reports, and progress records.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-focused workplace culture.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical learning.

About You

We are looking for someone who is caring, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality therapy.

You will need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Experience working with clients across different age groups and clinical settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for helping clients achieve meaningful outcomes.
